2022- 2024 Year Stats

It all begins with an idea. The WCC is dedicated to providing resources to its community members who face adversity, and want to enroll their children in extra-curricular activities. For the academic years 2022-2023, and 2023-2024, the WCC provided reimbursement funds to eligible enrolled Washoe children, who participated in the following:

Cheer, football, hiking, soccer, skiing, snowboarding, beading, cultural events, powwows, and track.

The first Prevention Program ARPA Wellness Event was held on New Years Eve, December 31, 2023. The WCC hosted 61 participants at our Wellness Center and provided pizza and bingo games for our community members. In July 2024, the WCC hosted a safe and sober prevention dinner for nearly 100 community members who received an incentive for participating.

The WCC values family time in a safe and sober environment.
